Jennifer Portnoff is Terra Vista Management’s General  Counsel.

Jennifer joined Terra Vista Management, Inc., as General Counsel, in July of 2024. Jennifer has 27 years of legal experience, with over 20 years in the commercial real estate/real estate finance space.  Jennifer has facilitated the successful origination, structuring, and execution of over $30 billion in real estate finance transactions secured by diverse property classes (including multifamily, student housing, military housing, mobile home parks, hospitality, industrial, office, retail, life science, and golf) throughout the United States and Canada.

Jennifer has extensive experience in acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, property due diligence, construction, environmental matters (including brownfield redevelopment), corporate governance, and commercial litigation. 

Jennifer graduated from Harvard Law School in 1997, magna cum laude, and from Stanford University in 1994, phi beta kappa, with a degree in Psychology. 

Jennifer lives with her husband in Orange County, CA.  She is recently an empty nester with two adult kids.  She enjoys gardening, tending to her chickens, playing with her dogs, and Pilates.
